    Composer. Digital polymath artist.

Aviv Yeshayav is a composer and producer based in Hamilton, Ontario, who releases music as The Aviv. He describes himself as a digital polymath artist.

At seventeen he designed The Aviv signature, after seeing Da Vinci's signature beneath the Vitruvian Man.

He studied Honours Mathematical Physics at the University of Waterloo, meaning to become a theoretical physicist. In his first year he turned to the arts, and he began composing at twenty.

Between 2009 and 2019 he worked as an entrepreneur, a novelist, a songwriter and a stand-up comic, and produced two comedy specials. In October 2019 he began calling himself a multidisciplinary artist, and he has worked that way since.

Today he writes original theme music for series, film, games, brands and annual events, alongside classical and cinematic composition. He is developing Cain, a retelling of Cain and Abel from Cain's side, whose trailer was released in February 2026, and Devil Hunter, a novel series begun in 2012 that he calls his magnum opus.

What he is building is a new medium that fuses music, story and the technology of this era. In his words: "Music is the entry, film is the empire."

He holds that art which reveals the truth is the greatest magic, and that magic is a manifestation of the seemingly impossible.

Aviv means spring.

The seemingly impossible, made real.
